To mobilize and enrich believers locally and abroad by serving where SMI has active partnerships (Col 1:10; Acts 13:3).

Our desire is to see both nationals and North Americans mobilized to serve in post-communist communities. SMI mobilizes over 40 volunteers and who give more than 3,500 hours of their time each year. These partners of the mission have served in the home office and overseas. We are grateful for them and would not be able to accomplish our mission without them. The volunteers are truly the heart of SMI and the work God has called us to accomplish. The ones who serve are a blessing to the mission and in return they are blessed by serving.
