Vision Statement
Mission: To glorify God by serving and partnering with local churches in post-Soviet communities; to motivate, mobilize and multiply the church and to inspire hope through mercy ministries.

Church Planting: To establish and empower culturally relevant life-giving reproducing churches in post-Soviet communities from which flow worship and life-giving ministries (Matt 16:18; Acts 20:28).

Leadership Development: To equip and encourage existing and future leaders to reach their full potential in Christ and ultimately advance the kingdom of God, impact the local church and influence their society (Eph 4:11-12; 2 Tim 2:2).

Compassion Ministry: To obey the biblical admonition, “to visit orphans and widows in their affliction” and “to do good to everyone” by providing spiritual and physical help in partnership with national believers (Gal 6:10; James 1:27).

Mobilization: To mobilize and enrich believers locally and abroad by serving where SMI has active partnerships (Col 1:10; Acts 13:3).

Expanded Reach: To expand our ministry into other post-Soviet communities in order to fulfill the Great Commission (Matt 28:19).
